I'm all in on this kid -- for now. But I still won't believe it's a done deal until he's enrolled, on campus and on the practice field. John Emery was still "100 percent committed to UGA," even AFTER the LSU game, remember? Then, he claims, "something" changed. He said he realized he might be behind Swift and Holyfield. Well, that was funky because that was ALWAYS the case. Swift couldn't leave and Holyfield was always on the fence about staying. So I just thought it was disingenuous. Emery and that kid from North Georgia, the lineman who wound up at Ohio State (forget his name) are the two who stand out to me who were supposedly rock-solid commitments -- until they weren't. So I just say to Van Pran that actions speak louder than words!
It's great to have college football's best O-line coach. Sam Pittman is the man!
