I wouldn't be surprised if a large portion of the ND seats are filled with Georgia fans!
Great to hear from you, Chip! When I traveled to South Bend in 2017, shuttle buses were met by ND "ambassadors" that gave out campus maps that pointed you in desired directions. It made for a very warm welcome and set a great tone for the campus visit. I recall that UGA decided to do something similar with a "Silver Dawg" group of ambassadors on the campus on game days. I haven't seen anything about it lately, and as I live in a galaxy far, far away, I haven't been to Sanford Stadium in a number of years. Is that program underway, and if so, how is it going? Go Dawgs!
Silver Britches......What good UGA fan is going to sell their tickets to ND fans for the biggest game in Sanford Stadium in decades? ND has a great fan base but they are spread out all over the country. Many of which have never seen their team play in person. Even if we let them in free there would still be only about 8,000 of them total. Don't worry about that. Worry about our DB's not get beaten deep!
I know I don't have to say this, but going to anyway. Dawg fans, PLEASE fill Sanford stadium with that beautiful sea of red! Please don't let the ND fans outnumber us in our own stadium! Please be the loudest and proudest you've ever been! Please make some noise for our boys! Most importantly, PLEASE be safe and have a great time!
This is going to be fun! Sanford will be rockin'!
GO DAWGS!
People keep referring to Georgia fans taking up 3/4 of Vanderbilt's stadium. Judging by every angle I saw on TV, it had to be closer to 90%.
