  Wow, it was definitely a sign that the doors opened on the 15 floor the night before the 15th game to see the only other national championship winning coach. That just gives me chills.

  My favorite times as a student at UGA in the 60s was watching the defense in pregame form a circle with Erk calling out various members of those fully padded young men to engage them with a headbutt (I guess he would be disqualified now) until he showed his Bulldawg blood streaming down that immaculate cue ball of a head!

  Erk turned down the Georgia job. He stated he was past the age of becoming head coach at Georgia since he had been at GSU so long. Go Dawgs!! National Champs!!

  Vince’s decision to not pass the baton to Erk was an epic mistake. Erk would have gotten us back to multiple NC games.
