Btw....I did the same thing. But, I knew better. They typically don't run positive stories about the Dawgs. You'd think they were coached by Trump, the way National Media treats em Lol
I'd be willing to bet my last dollar....that ESPN has published more stories about Coach Prime, Colorado, Hunter, Shilo and Shadeur than anything UGA....by at least a 4 to 1 margin. And, it ain't even close.
My, my....what would we do without sports Media to tell us what "great" looks like. Lol
Like I said....the Dawgs are gonna have to create their own awards. Before long.…they'll be more coveted than those so-called "National Awards". Lol
Leaving some major Dawg contributors off those lists over the years has exposed their bias. Kirby knew winning would shatter the illusion. You can't chalk up, what he's done over the years, to "fluke".
If Kirby was Ryan Day....he'd be sitting on 2 or 3 National COY Awards, by now. As it is....they're afraid to put Day solidly on the hot-seat in Ohio. And, he most certainly is on the hot-seat, cause OSU's gonna lose in the 1st round.
What WILL ESPN do.…when UGA wins another Natty with another roster full of no-name players. Lol....and, we know now, why they're "no-name players", don't we?.
IMO....The National sports Media…(chock full of OSU, USC, Michigan, Texas and Bama Homers)...is trying to break UGA's lock on recruiting outside of it's typical footprint. T
Brandon,
Here's a indication that ESPN may be a UGA hater. A couple days ago I saw on ESPN/College Football that Kelvin Banks won the Lombardi Award. Next day I went back to read about Jalon Walker winning the Butkus Award, nothing there. Today, I tried again, and no mention in the Top Stories, so I searched and nothing came up. It is inconceivable that the winner of the Butkus Award would not make ESPN's College webpage, …unless the winner is a Bulldawg. Looks like ESPN may be one of those UGA haters, would love to hear you call them out for omitting Jalon's accomplishment on your next podcast.
