I think he’s a bargaining chip for next year. Especially given his performance in cold weather.
I can believe the Buffalo GM had no intention of drafting Jake. He did zero homework. Of all the NFL teams, Buffalo is by far the worst for Jake! I figured if he got drafted by a northern team, it would be a team with a domed stadium. The conditions during the Kentucky game, of which so much blame was given for Jake's performance, will seem like a walk in the park compared to the weather in Buffalo for the majority of the season. The big question for Jake now is gloves or no gloves.
Jake is a winner.....UGA proved it....he will get his chance in cold Buffalo now...let's watch and see what transpires. Bills' GM had a sensing about Fromm....that is his mystique...a cool customer under pressure and an unequaled football IQ.
For a variety of reasons-- not the least of which is a more lucrative NFL start, as well as another gang-buster year in Athens-- it sure seems he should have stayed in college his senior year, with very little to lose and plenty to gain. But what's done is done. I really wish him well, and in fact expect him to surprise people with his all-around competency at the next level.
