We are supposed to be "RBU" and we are only averaging 161 rushing yards per game. Heck Najee Harris is averaging more than that at Bama right by himself.
Have to agree with Westtndawg, Landers kinda baffles me. He doesn't seem to have the heart, desire, determination to be a regular on the field. Hate to single a kid out, somebody correct me if I'm wrong, or if I need to look at him from another perspective.
Glad to hear the glass cannon will be back. I believe we have enough data to establish the pecking order at RB based upon yards per carry. Milton or McIntosh start, Cook then Zeus and Edwards.
Go Dawgs!
"Keep Kendall in," his dad yelled at TN game. I agree. Kendall is a power back. He creates his own holes. Ploughing through 9 tacklers is amazing! Great balance! Superior power. Cook returning will help...if he uses super glue on this mitts. Zeus did not have his best day against TN. They stuffed him before he hardly took a step. OL largely responsible. I noted that Arian Smith moved up to "doubtful." I really need to see this speedster in action. Will be interesting to see how he performs in SEC. So many "out" for the season..too many. UGA has depth, credit Coach Smart for that. Stetson has done well so far.....how against Bama is yet to be seen. He simply cannot throw bombs with authority. He is fairly accurate and can really run....that TD against TN showed some heart and speed. Saban will figure him out and try to contain him. Then maybe UGA sneaks in JT or Mathis. Totally different styles. Saban is a master at making adjustments to win....! Cannot deny that. Coach Smart better not play games with 4th and 1 next weekend...unless the ball is one inch off the goal line. LOL
Yeah, our running backs break tackles, all right, unless they're on the goal line!!!! And I'm really glad that Tommy Bush is going to be OK, and as importantly, that his traffic accident occurred "off the field."
But on a more serious note, although JT Daniels is not listed on the official injury report, is he, in fact, healthy enough to play? Just seems like Monken and Smart would be itching to find a way to get him some snaps somehow. I just wonder if it's a situation where he's not healthy enough, or if it's a case where Bennett and Mathis are just further along than he is right now, despite all of his supposed talent?
Good to know that Cook will be back. He adds another dimension to the Monken offense.
