Sounds like a good kid and I think it's smart to evaluate all options. I gotta admit that if I had the opportunity to play and attend Stanford, it'd be a tough school to pass up - it's in CA, has a REAL football team (unlike say Harvard) and if the NFL isn't in your future, you'll have one of the best schools in the country on your resume.
That being said, having a degree from UGA now-adays is pretty impressive - likely similar to having one from UNC back in the day (and probably still is).

It's good that MJ won't be an early enrollee because his June 22 arrival creates more separation between him and Brock. Now it's up to Monken and Kirby to land him.
