"One Day at a Time Sweet Jesus" best of luck to Quincy Carter and Hollywood Henderson also.
Great story, and a wonderful, amazing chance for others to see that all things are truly possible. NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER GIVE UP!!!!!
Quincy ripped off a line from an Ozzy Osbourne song. I am opposed to sobriety, though.
I pray that Q's' six months of sobriety turns in to 6 yrs, then 16 yrs, then forever.
Just in case you're reading this... That's awesome news, Quincy! So happy for you! You stay positive and take care of yourself, the RIGHT way! I know a few people who were lost to drugs and alcohol, some so bad off I expected to hear of them dying at any time. But, they turned their lives around and are doing great now. The road to recovery may not be an easy one, but you CAN succeed. Believe in yourself!
All the best, Quincy!
GO DAWGS!
Congrats on 6 months sober Quincy! Best wishes in your struggle against temptation.

I just hope he's able to get some sort of job.....6 months is a very short period of time......He has a long road ahead
I know several people who have been in this boat and are in recovery and are extremely successful as well as some who are still struggling. It touches a lot of us every day. Those like Quincy who can keep it steady are the ones who can help the most. Hope you can stay with it Quincy....
I remember the beginning of Quincy's spiral with the Cowboys but had lost track of him for years. Thanks for sharing his story and recent success. Prayerful that your sobriety continues and that you are able to be of help to others struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. Quincy deserves a warm welcome from Dawg fans on G-Day. Go Dawgs!
All true Dawg fans are happy that you are conquering this. Our prayers are for you to succeed one day at a time, just like getting ready for the next game. We wish you success in your endeavors to help others. DGD, but too long gone from us. Welcome home!
