Top notch facilities no doubt attract the top recruits. But games are still played, and decided on the field, regardless of a recruits ranking
One of the greatest days in the history of our great university was the day Michael Adams left the campus for the last time. His backassward attitude of football being an expense rather than an asset kept UGA in the throes of mediocrity for years. There is not a dime being spent on football that is not resulting in a dollar being spent on beautiful state-of-the-art classrooms, buildings, and other infrastructure all over the best college campus in the world! Kudos to UGA administration and athletics for making UGA second to none, not only in athletics, but across the entire education spectrum!
It's unreal how UGA ever allowed themselves to fall so far behind other SEC programs in regards to facilities.
The on-field cost is unmeasurable, but very likely considerable. Glad they finally woke up...
