I’m excited to see more of Landers. Also, I noticed that Hill’s knees aren’t covered. The refs were sticklers for that rule last year. I wonder if they relaxed it. Can’t really see how an exposed kneecap is a good idea for any position, especially the center. Just an observation.
I photo you see of Hill (known in the industry as the "hero" or "lead" image) is from the G-Day game, I believe. Not Saturday night at Vanderbilt. You are correct that the rules now require players to have their kneecaps covered by knee pads.
Agreed on Landers! I will be the first to say that I’ve been skeptical of him even since GDay. The look I saw in his eyes a couple times Saturday was not there in the spring or last year. Keep Chopping Matt!
I like the Trey Hill pick! Last year when he had to sub for Gaillard toward the end of the season or the bowl game his shotgun snaps were inconsistent and sometimes threw the timing of the play off. At least one or two were so bad they had to be recovered in order not to have a TO. I don't recall any problems with snaps Saturday and I pity the nose tackle that has to play over this behemoth. Trey is destined to be All SEC at some point in his career if not All American.

Good choices. I think by the end of the season, Quay Walker will be in this list.
