I have no problem with the guys that enter the transfer portal. I think what of them find is that they are 3&4 rated but when they get to UGA everyone is that plus a lot of 5's. Only the best of the best hit the field and so playing time is hard to come by. My nephew signed with a University in basketball and ended up starting his freshmen year. First game of his sophomore year he tore up his ankle and by the time he got better 3/4 of the season was over and just found himself on the bench. He transferred to a division II school where he started 2 years and they went to the nationals and finished 2nd one year. He said it was more enjoyable playing for a smaller school and playing versus pine riding at a larger school so I get these kids. Wish him well.
