Patrick's characterization of Tennessee's problems, and his assertion that Georgia "got sloppy" in doing similar things, strikes me as odd. To me, "sloppy" would be going over the lines when doing something you're generally allowed to do, like having more contact with a recruit that you should.
Saying that handing out cash is "sloppy" is like saying bank robbery is a sloppy way to make a withdrawal.
I agree with you on Dan Patrick's remarks. However, I wouldn't call him a "journalist" in the classic sense. He would not be passing on some source on Georgia's recruiting if there is nothing that lends credibility to it. The source said UT got sloppy. At least there is evidence of an investigation into the UT program that lends possible credibility. There seem to be multiple sources saying there is an investigation. Pruitt was fired for cause lending a little more credibility to the allegation. In Georgia's case--one unnamed source and nothing else. Irresponsible to mention that on the air once if not twice.
Why Dan Patrick is linking UGA to the dumpster fire is killing me....He is the dumpster fire. Not sure if UGA has any legal standing, but if so I would think a letter of put up or shut up could be sent!
Jeff Sentell confirmed last week that WM was in the football complex.....A report on CKS getting other evaluations, as he has done in the past from others.
I have heard rumors that Muschamp has been seen around UGA football complex. Any more information?
