Yeah, utk is a big rival, there was a time when they couldn't field a team in football, basketball, or even baseball without Georgia players. If UGA wins Saturday, maybe you should have a " Hillbilly Updater ".

Let's be fair to give Dan Lanning some credit as D-Coordinator. Kirby often got the same treatment at Bama with Saban being given credit for their D. Go Dawgs!

Let's see, Tank Bigsby, 8 carries 31 yds...68 yds receiving. He was the team!! Talented, no doubt...but not against UGA. Milton will be as good but needs the reps. Bigsby starts. Cook is as good as Bigsby now...just needs stickier hands. Zeus is better. Putting Bigsby on some ethereal level is not justified when it comes to a superior opposing team. You have to perform at that level as well. He is good...yes. Will likely be great but not yet. IMO.

The front 7, starters and back-ups are ridiculous, but the secondary leaves something to be desired. I hate that Ringo kid is out, maybe he can add some padlocks. That Schwartz kid #1 got behind our D several times and ran right past DJ Daniels. Those Bama WRs will feast if we can't get decent pressure on Mac Jones (who? Mac Jones). I was hoping we could at least go man on 1 of them and zone the others.
I think I would be happy with a SEC East title and CFP appearance would be icing, but I will not get my hopes up for a ring this year.

Haven't had a chance to check that out, but just going by the end result against Williams, I'm going to have to see it to believe it. Not saying it can't happen - Bama does have some serious receivers - but I'm feeling good about him for the time being. I thought the PI call against him last week was a joke. Honestly, though, I am pretty concerned about Daniel.

I don't know. Milton had, what, 3 carries? And two of them looked comparable to anything Bigsby did. I also got the feeling Cook was just getting warmed up when he got dinged up.

I may be premature in saying this as I have not listened to the entire podcast...None of UGAs RBs looked as good as Tank Bigsby Saturday. Cook was a close second but Bigsby is on another level, especially for a kid right out of HS. It's a shame he chose AU because that is where RBs go to be ridden into the ground. Bigsby will have no tread on the tires once his three years are up at that school.

Also, saw a film study on Tyson Campbell in the AU game. The kid will be a lockdown corner but his technique is far from sound. Check out the 'Top-Billin' review on his play against Williams for AU. Alabama's WR will torch him a few times.

Arkansas may be better than AU. Bo Nix is incredibly overrated. Will he get better and possibly be a threat in 2021? Yes. To date, AU is not a top 20 team. I would slow my roll with praise for UGA. An inferior team makes the above average look great. I am not saying UGA isn't a very good team but we have a LONG wat to go and have to improve substantially on offense to be a contender.
