In terms of pure betting, Georgia isn't one of those schools that TYPICALLY likes to beat a team by 40-60+ points. That's not to say it wouldn't happen and certainly not that we couldn't, but Georgia (rightfully so) will put in 2nd and 3rd+ string players and do things like run out the clock even if they are 1st and Goal.
I'm expecting a solid win though.
The way the running game is progressing, UGA will need to add air as they did last week...who can or will do this? Stets, JT, Beck? Two of the three are supposedly banged up. I can agree that the defense could probably win the game on their own...but is that the goal? Play it safe? Get out with a win? This is not the year for that. I wish I had a better handle on the QB situation...cannot discern a thing from Smart...everybody's repping, everybody's progressing? Stetson is sore, JT is repping but not 100 %..Carson is repping?
Put Stets out there and let him do his thing. Beck can back him up if JT is still out. Let's go Dawgs...stop repping and start playing! We do not want a 2019! All this down speech and coach speech. Enough. Guess I am getting a tad irritated.
Forget the point spread. The objective is to have a comfortable win, work in different players for experience and finish the game with no significant injuries. Everything else takes care of itself. This game will be closer than 31 points. Starter QB3 SBIV is banged up as are the WR's. Lean on the running game and the D this week for the win.
You are perfectly predictable as is usual. Go back to Tennessee.
It's a big rivalry game, especially from the SC side, as a large percentage of their players always come from Georgia.
I don't know how to take the 31 point spread. I hope it doesn't get into the heads of the Ga players, because they will get SC's best on Saturday. The **** have nothing to lose, if they can even keep it within 21 points, many will see that as a moral victory.
Georgia should win, but they better come into it with their heads on right. If they do, it can be another step towards improving areas that need improving and they can keep the positive momentum going. GOOOODAWGS!
