Didn't help that UGA didn't send any DL to the NFL draft combine this year. Tyler Clark was snubbed, and I hope he proves to have a productive career at the next level, but he had trouble making a name for himself playing on UGA's "no name" defense. I do think Travon Walker has the talent to take this line to a higher level this season, which could build momentum towards making UGA a more desirable destination for DL recruits.
Jefferson's recruitment is great, but UGA needs several more big time DL to commit, iron sharpens iron. It seems UGA gets plenty of OL every year, but have come up short on the DL, maybe this year they will catch up to what it takes to recruit the DL also.
