New members....please read this.

New members, it is not necessary to write an entire dissertation to express your thoughts. Keep your posts short and to the point. Like Mark Twain once said, "If I had more time I would have written a shorter letter."

Thank you.

Just seems like we have a lot of new members who write exceedingly long posts. Brevity is appreciated.

To all members, write what you want in any style at any length. If it's too long...know, it won't be read by me, as I'm sure you all care.

Blaise Pascal, Ben Franklin, Abe Lincoln, Mark Twain, the ''I could have written a shorter letter'' sentiment has many fathers.
It's true though....brevity is usually best.
Think of what we're having as a conversation.

My ''long'' posts are 4 rather short paragraphs at most.

True. Just seems like we have had a wave of new members posting extremely long threads. Not trying to censor anyone, just a simple suggestion for everyone. If you want to get your point across, keep it short and simple.

Also, if you feel the need to make a long post, break it up into separated paragraphs. People are more likely to read small paragraphs instead of one huge block of text.
