New redshirt rule

This is potentially huge, imo. Could give a lot of guys a chance to get some playing experience without burning a year. Also could affect the management of players who suffer early season injuries. Thoughts?

Big news. Allows all Freshman to get in on some of these blow out games / cup cakes and get time under the college “lights” and in front of packed houses while not burning a year.

And quite possibly, when the lights shine on them, the light inside the player turns on bright and a potential Redshirt turns into a two deep player. (Using the 4 games as a litmus test if you will).

This IS a BIG DEAL. I like it, because it allows for more "looks" & gives the coaching staff/team more flexibility to "figure it out" more so than in years gone by where this rule was not in place. That? Benefits everyone. No losers here. This rule IMHO is a true "WIN - WIN" for all parties.
