ATHENS — The Georgia football program’s award-winning film crew has everyone convinced the Bulldogs’ quarterbacks are looking good in early fall drills. Wake Forest graduate transfer Jamie Newman has impressed everyone with his deep throws and biceps. A long pass to Kearis Jackson also made a recent highlight reel.

    I go back and forth on the lack of access being provided at practices. On the one hand, I understand the concern about keeping players healthy and I get wanting to keep new wrinkles under wraps. But I also think media viewing at an outdoor practice has no real risk, and I want to see some independent analysis of the team. I don't like having to rely on PR video only.
