"This teams coaching staff is highly motivated and second to none." - BornADawg
In recruiting, they are second to none. In game adjustments, game planning, etc, they aren't in the Top Ten. This talent-ladened team has lost 5 games the past two seasons to equally talented or less talented teams. Not to mention this coaching staff couldn't get this team to show up for the Sugar Bowl? (No, I haven't moved on)
Y'all did notice that none of the Cover-4 guys listed having Kirby Smart on the sideline as one of our "Big Edges?"
Too bad statistics don't win games.. Never have, never will. Game isn't decided on paper.
Y'all whiffed on this one. Homefield and home-crowd advantage. Smart said so himself, the crowd will make a difference in the game. Sanford stadium in going to be, as the kids say, lit, and it's going to miserable for Notre Dame on the field.
That's a good point. However, the players are motivated for ND. Texas, not so much, much to my sorrow (and I'm sure yours). Motivated talent is a thing to behold, see Cade Mays video.
A whole new attitude! These Dawgs will rip the opponents heart out and hand it to them and smile while doing it!
This is going to be Kirby's and the Dawg's coming out party much like Saban's and the Tide's that was so gentlemenly hosted by Mark Richt in 2008!
Home crowd advantage, talent level, speed , depth and I’ll give a shout out to our entire coaching staff. This teams coaching staff is highly motivated and second to none. 35-17 Dawgs! Go Dawgs!
