There should be a huge asterisk attached to their 2023 title. UGA still in my mind is a three-time champion and just was not allowed by the governing body to compete because they wanted to orchestrate A. a Harbaugh championship as he waltzes back to the NFL or B. a Saban title to add to his retirement ceremony.

99% of the time a team wins 54 and loses 54 but it's the other 54 that determines the outcome of the season. At least they didn't join the 1%ers!

A nice tidy 2-0 win for the lads. Waldrep with a sparkling 6 innings of shutout ball to go along with excellent work by the pen, especially Iglesias sealing the deal in the 9th. Harris another multiple hit game- approaching .260 now - hot as a firecracker. If Waldrep continues to develop, he might be in line to be in the rotation next year. They, IMO, the best 54 win team in MLB!!

What a comeback by the lads. Down 6-0 after two, they hit and pitched their way out of it. Good team effort. Not sure where that was for the first 100 games or so.
