Re: Braves 2025
67 games left in the season. Last year they made the playoffs with 89 wins. To get there they would need to go 47-20 down the stretch. That is .700 baseball which is dang near impossible.
So you're saying there's a chance….
No guarantee 89 wins gets you in either.
So for me the second half will be sort of a reverse magic number. 20. Every loss subtracts one from that total. We all already know it's over this year but when that number gets to zero it's over for sure.

Re: Braves 2025
Just thought of this - the Braves are the best 42-52 team in MLB. Keep choppin' boys!!
Re: Georgia OL Jah Jackson arrested on multiple charges, including felony possession of marijuana
Just curious is there such a thing as going through a preseason without an arrest ? Yes sarcastic question. If it wasn’t such a bad thing for the program, that’s coaches, players, fans, it’d almost be comical. Oh well maybe his will be the last one for All the season. One can hope !!

Re: Why SEC runs through Texas: Itâs not Kirby Smartâs coaching
The road runs through Texas because Texas has the money to entice players to sign on the dotted line. I think we can expect more of this in the future, until caps are put on NIL and other deals, especially a freshmen max payout. Right now, Texas is watching who Georgia recruits and recruits the same player. Then, when the recruit picks Georgia, a big bag comes down the pike and BAM the recruit defects to Texas. It's not that Texas necessarily wants or needs the player, it's to ensure Georgia doesn't get them. It's like the nuclear arms race between the former Soviet Union and the United States. I have 25 nukes and I'm never going to use them: however, I'm going to have more nukes than you—just in case… NIL and "pay for play" have ruined College Sports.
