I could have predicted this would happen. An over zealous DA and an office that will prosecute any case to make a point of zero tolerance to athletes from UGA. Even at the expense of the sprit of the charges and law. If the witness that the prosecutors office wants to recant why would you go forward and put this into a jurors lap if not to make a point? This prosecution is baffling and honestly borders on prosecutorial misconduct. It is a misdemeanor and I were Young I would ask for a bench trial if this goes forward. I would call the the GF and have her tell why she recanted and what the DA's office told her. Crazy days when you are making a point to punish a young man for an argument between he and his girlfriend.

When is Deborah Gonzales' term over - early January? The office may not have the staff available to do the work to dismiss the case. Her Office has been a dumpster fire since she began. Another George Soros DA meets a predictable ending.
