Re: Gunner Stockton learning to make âcalculated decisionsâ as he leads Georgia offense
Love watching Gunner play and give his all. I sure wish he had a bit better protection so he doesn't have to take hits on balls thrown, much less the ones on runs. He seemed to run with more intention Saturday and didn't seem quite as reckless. He is clearly getting better with his progressions and that will need to continue to improve in order for the ball movement to keep defenses off balance. I know everyone keeps saying it but it's true - keep using the TEs and get the ball to Branch no matter what.
Re: Georgia football winners and losers after taking care of business against Kentucky
Love the focus on Cash Jones and Micah Morris. Couldn't be truer for this game and many others. They give their all and I've really been bummed about how so much stuff has been directed at Jones from last week. It doesn't really matter who was in the game, the missed blocking assignment is the reason the play failed - not the call and not the ball carrier - just execution.
I've got another winner, and @jdatl3 beat me to it - passing over the middle! The routes have been there in previous games (particularly with the TEs) and have flashed plenty open but it has seemed that Stockton had some hesitancy with throwing those balls. Those slants are very tough to defend and usually result in significant YAC so the more comfortable Gunner becomes, the better for the offense.
Now let's hope we are all feeling this good after next Saturday's game. Go DAWGS!
Re: Georgia may be out of answers with its pass rush if it canât disrupt Jackson Arnold, Auburn
