-Colorado is slowly becoming the Harlem Globetrotters of college football. Prime to the SEC is fun discussion but does he really know what he's doing?
-We might play Texas 3 times this year
-Mark Stoops and Melissa McCarthy have still never been seen in the same room.
-I watched the Bama/USF game at a bar in BHM and the natives are restless. They are fully expecting UGA to grind it's heel into them in Tuscaloosa. I also think it's a bad idea to name things (fields, buildings, statues) after people that are still living.
-Notre Dame will still be given a pass to the playoffs.
Re: Georgia football injury report: Kirby Smart gives positive updates on Oscar Delp, Nate Frazier
The play that Delp got hurt on was such a cheap shot by TT. He was trailing the play as the running back had already past by his block when a TT defender shoved him in the back, pushing him into the tackle and causing him to sprain his ankle . He otherwise would not have been involved in the finish of the play. Total cheap shot.
Re: 2024 Braves
Certainly winning games differently this year. Margins are a lot tighter.
Just gotta get in one way or another. They say in Spring hope springs eternal. Well that is true in the playoffs as well. Once you are in you have a chance. With a few breaks maybe you make it further than thought.
Re: Georgia football instant observations as Carson Beck ties school record in rout of Tennessee Tech
No surprise here. Like was said, it's hard to glean anything meaningful from this game. The unfortunate thing was we lost Delp which is frustrating against a team like this one. Next man up.
My instant observations from other games:
KY's offense is horrible. Their defense is pretty stout. Brock looked rattled and sacked multiple times in the first half. If we have serious issues with the Wildcats next week, then we've got bigger problems.
TX is for real. They are the most complete team I've seen this season. They are fast, big, and move the ball all over the field. Their TE, Gunnar Helm, was another Bowers. 7 catches for 98 yards. Even with the starting RB out with an injury, they just inserted other guys who ran and caught balls effectively. They've got 3-4 elite receivers including Isaiah Bond. Their defense is impressive. Michigan was manhandled at the LOS. We might need to worry about them more than Bama.

UGA should be in good shape for KY game. KY, IMO, should pose little problem for the Dawgs. BVG. QB for KY…well…let me say he is not having a banner day….and leave it at that. SC looks stronger…but not that great either. At last view SC was leading 17 to 6. It is now 31 to 6..SC in the 4th. SC has a decent defense.
