Re: Jahzare Jackson not suspended by Kirby Smart following July arrest
Good call, Kirby. Prior article had people responding with possession of "200-300 joints" gotta be distribution, kick him outta here, etc. I consulted an "expert" who said amount was more like 100-125 joints, easily personal consumption (while sharing with friends/teammates)… besides, distribution would have included other equipment (e.g., scale), lots of cash, and probably a hand gun or two. In any case, while boneheaded and against the law, a non-violent, first time offense worth handling internally and giving the kid (not a gangsta) a good, hopefully life-long lesson. Go Dawgs!
Re: Raylen Wilson on money at Georgia: âHere we make sure thatâs not the biggest issueâ
I'm sure a large number of players feel that way. But then when they don't start right away or playing time isn't to their liking, the agents and families are whispering in their ears about the grass on the other side of the fence. The pressure on some of these kids has got to be unbelievable!
Re: Memories that last forever
Raising them right…. (This is my own daughter Cecelia) she was 2 then, and she’s already 12 now!?
Our kids childhood happens only once, and the memories are forever.

Re: Memories that last forever
Fifty-five years ago. I remember that as just a seven year old boy, way back in September of 1970. At the time, I didn’t really understand the game of football yet..I was just so very excited to drive with my late father from Atlanta, over to Athens.. I was absolutely overwhelmed once we got inside of Sanford Stadium. The place was packed, everyone was dressed in red and black, and I was having the time of my life. The opponent: The Clemson Tigers. Then GEORGIA ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED CLEMSON THAT DAY.
FINAL SCORE:
Georgia - 38
Clemson - 0
My first game was so very wonderful, and awesome, incredible, impactful, and glorious, and it really changed my life for the better in so many ways, and my lasting heartfelt memories of my entire childhood with my wonderful “Daddy” who has now been passed away nearly ten years ago.
GO DAWGS!!!

Re: How did you become a DAWG fan?
In 1978 my father was reassigned to Moody Air Force Base and I moved to Valdosta that summer. That fall while doing outside chores I started listening to Larry Munson on the radio as he called UGA football games. Former Valdosta HS QB Buck Belue was a freshman for the Dawgs that season (he also played baseball in the spring) so that gave me a local rooting interest in a UGA player.
Since then I've been an avid Dawg fan, put myself through school at UGA, and even created/ran my own fan message board (i.e., Dawg Treasures) from 1999-2006.
46+ years later there's not a day that passes that I don't think about the Dawgs.
