Re: As season comes to an end, Georgia football offense faces real questions about its future
Players always take up for their coach. But grown ups realize that averaging 3 points in the first half in the last 3 ballgames is a firing offense (And most of the season. And last years SEC championship). At the very least, Kirby needs to get a new offensive line coach and a co offensive coordinator. That would be the least I would do. The right thing is to make a wholesale change. This isn't Bobo's first rodeo. He was terrible at his last three stops. He can coach QB's, but inventive play calling isn't his forte. And his friendship with Stacy Searls is costing him.
Re: As season comes to an end, Georgia football offense faces real questions about its future
If Georgia's offensive line and the receiver corp struggled all season. Maybe the position coaches for those groups need to be replaced. Kirby and his staff have to stop shying away from playing the younger receivers.
Re: Kirby Smart tackles tough questions, second guessing after 23-10 Sugar Bowl loss
I don’t agree. I attribute it to piss poor offensive line play and even worse piss poor offensive play calling. Go Dawgs!
Re: Kirby Smart tackles tough questions, second guessing after 23-10 Sugar Bowl loss
Another contributing factor was the lack of creative play calling from Bobo. He had a QB starting for the first time and had 3 weeks plus to come up with a game plan that would play to Stockton's talents. I didn't see designed bootlegs, or runs behind the offensive line or any sort of trickery that could turn the tide in the game. What I did see was an offensive line that was totally unprepared for the undersized, yet aggressive ND defensive line. It was a cryin shame how little protection Stockton was given in his first start. No one on the OL was free of guilt. It was a real crap show. I was however, very impressed with Stockton's long throws…he seemed to have a better deep ball then Beck. Someone should tell Dillion Bell that. SMH

Re: Georgia football-Notre Dame instant observations as special teams ends Georgia’s season
Great season when you look at all the mess this season was. Solid play from many and less than from a few but the D showed up today as did Stockton. Really looking forward to watching him after a full off- season. We knew coming in that the offense had to be flawless (as pointed out in the solid overview), and regardless of desire and effort, those mistakes weighed heavy. Very surprised at the KO return; that hasn’t even come close to happening and boy what a game changer.
Now the long wait for next year. Looking forward to seeing how this next group looks and performs. I sure hope Santa brought some receivers that can catch the ball.
Re: Georgia football-Notre Dame instant observations as special teams ends Georgia’s season
I'd love to rant about all the countless mistakes in this game, but it's just not worth it. We got beat but mostly beat ourselves. Pretty simple.
Proud of the way Stockton played. He did well.
Looking forward to a new team in 2025. Time to move on from this strange season.
Re: Kirby Smart tackles tough questions, second guessing after 23-10 Sugar Bowl loss
The attention to “go two minute” with 39 seconds left from your own 25 was not a good idea. Did we not lean anything from the last play of the first half against Texas? Apparently not.
Re: Kirby Smart, Georgia teammates all have the same takeaway on Gunner Stockton following first start
I was very impressed with Stockton's long throws…he seemed to have a better deep ball then Beck.
