Re: Contenders or Pretenders
After watching Texas, ND and OSU, I have come to realize that Gunner will have to be more than a game manager for us to win the Natty. He will have to be able to push the ball down field enough to loosen up the box. A running game is crucial and we won't be able to just over power any of those teams. If we can't do that we are pretenders.

Re: College Football Playoffs: 12 takeaways and harsh reality from opening weekend
Then don’t watch because it is obvious you haven’t.
Even with the admitted issues, this team still fights and finds a way. Anyone that says something $tupid like the University of Georgia will get the snot beat out of them has absolutely no clue who the University of Georgia is. No downvotes needed because your comment is recognized as being bad enough without them.

Re: College Football Playoffs: 12 takeaways and harsh reality from opening weekend
One addition to the future schedule discussion: Now that college football isn't afraid of scheduling games on the same day as the NFL, ditch the Monday night championship game.

Re: Contenders or Pretenders
One thing we've learned so far is there are some playoff teams which actually look to be formidable opponents for our Dawgs. So what? We've played formidable opponents over and over throughout the season.
Remember preseason and early in the season when the pundits were touting Georgia as being in another world from any other football team? Turns out that wasn't the case - judging by results on the field of play and the eye test, so far - but I'm not ruling it out for the playoffs.
Nobody's been tested like the Dawgs.
Go, Dawgs!

Re: Contenders or Pretenders
they will make him make plays and try to confuse him. The deck is stacked against us for sure with inexperience. It will no doubt be tough. However if the defense can control the game and give the offense short fields and we can play with the lead we can beat anyone. It will be tough to do for 3 games. There can be no 17-0 halftime deficits
Re: What social media has to say about Georgia-Notre Dame College Football Playoff matchup
Let 'em talk. Let 'em talk up ND and how dominant they were over IU, blah, blah, blah. Go ahead. Have at it. Coach Smart and the Dawgs are not listening to any of it. They will humbly go about preparations and let their performance on the field do their talking. 'Nuff said.
Go Dawgs!!
