Re: Glenn Schumann highlights several defenders who have âgrown upâ for Georgia defense
The Dawgs D has grown into a terror for opposing offenses before our very eyes. I can not wait to unleash these Dawgs against Ohio State's overrated offense!
Re: Georgia football practice report: Colbie Young among those making his return
"To date they have played the same position (X) in the UGA O. They are rarely on the field together."
@UGADad20 I don't disagree with you regarding Thomas, and my comment was intended to suggest that. My point is that as Young returns from his injury, the coaching staff is not obligated to play him in situations that are ideal for Thomas (or vice versa). They have put a very sharp and deadly arrow (Young) back into their quiver that wasn't available for the last 5 games. Thomas is still just as sharp and deadly as he was during the regular season regardless of Young's status. When Thomas is the right guy for a particular situation (route, matchup, etc.), you will see him out there. You are correct that we are not likely to see them both on the field at the same time, but we will see Thomas every time he is the guy that Bobo/Coley wants to see on the field.
With the return of Young, there are more sharp and deadly arrows in the quiver now than there was during the month of November. This is a good thing.
GO DAWGS!

The defense really improved after the Ole Miss game. As the young players gain more experience, they will continue to improve..GoDAWGS!

Re: Regular Bowl Games | Watching Any? | Thoughts?
Clemson and Penn State were AP preseason CFP favorites, ranked #4 and #2. That should tell us something about how little these AP voters know. I was chuckling early on when Cade Klubnik was being touted as a Heisman contender. Nothing against him, but did you see him play against UGA in 2024?

Re: Georgia football practice report: Colbie Young among those making his return
That said, Colbie Young is someone the Dawgs need. UGA has all the tools to make a run at it. The Ole Miss game will tell the tale. Irregardless, Kirby is THE premier coach in CFB. Win or lose, we UGA fans are lucky to have him. This years coaching cycle showed us how few options out there that really exist Most teams settled. Kirby has Georgia on a trajectory we could have never dreamed 10 years ago. I'll leave that right there. Hope all my fellow Dawgs have a healthy, safe and prosperous 2026. Thanks for the comraderie, support and a very good year
So well said! Yes, we are a very lucky fan base and should be very appreciative!
and let me add my “Amen, good sir” to your well wishes!
Go Dawgs! Hate on Ole Miss!

Re: Georgia football practice report: Colbie Young among those making his return
Outstanding comments !! Yep there are certainly some pot stirrers that come here under the banner of “ just being objective” or “ just offering honest critique”, but the funny thing is their objectivity and honest critique is Always negative. Deliberately ignoring the hard Fact that UGA is 12-1 with their Only loss being by 3 points.
It’s always a dooms day analysis that “well the Dawgs are gonna lose this one”. IF they are truly Dawgs fans that must be a sad existence when you have little to no Faith in your team.
One guy that comes here has admitted he’s Not a Dawgs fan and could Never see himself being one. He loves to regurgitate allot of stats and historical data but what he doesn’t seem to understand or doesn’t Want to understand, is that some things don’t fit into the data boxes !!
Not long ago he insulted our QB by saying he’s incapable of making a down field pass. Well all I know Again is that our Dawgs are the SEC Champions and 12-1.
Our Dawgs Truly operate as a Team. They don’t hang their hopes on any one player or even two, heck even three. When one goes down another fills in and usually there’s very little drop off. YET they’re not jealous of each other. They are a Brotherhood, that play for each other. Where’s the data box for that ? Where’s the data box for the heart and courage that Gunner has ?
I want to fully agree and mimic what You said my Brother, with a bit of a twist, Win or Lose I’m gonna LOVE our Dawgs !! Love Em when they’re up, Love Em when they’re down. Disappointed when they lose ? Sure. But still Love Em !! I to wish ALL my fellow Dawgs fans and their families a Great New Year !! May God Bless & Protect You ALL !! Go Dawgs !! Sic Em Dawgs Go Fetch Another National Title !!.

Re: Georgia football practice report: Colbie Young among those making his return
@UGADad20 Sorry but this is incorrect. Colbie Young has NFL talent. Things just haven't gone his way since he came to Athens.
@UGADawg Sorry both Young and Noah Thomas are in their last year of eligibility. I hope that both young men are rewarded with a long playoff run that leads to invites to the NFL scouting combine.
Re: Georgia football practice report: Colbie Young among those making his return
Certain people here like to stir the pot and have been doing it for awhile. I question this persons connection to UGA because they never have anything nice to say.

Re: Glenn Schumann highlights several defenders who have âgrown upâ for Georgia defense
I think I OD'D on football yesterday, but Lordy was it divine. I also think about "what if this was the middle of February"—what have you got then——the NBA—I'd rather be fishing. Sorry—I'm rambling. I'm so proud of our defense, I think our defensive play will take us far into the Playoffs. Their maturity is evident and it sure makes us a better ball team. GO DAWGS
