Holmes is a great story. Dude pitched in the minors 10 years before he made it.
You dont see that much. 28 year old rookies. Most guys when they dont make it by say 25 or so move on with their lives.

7-0 shutout. Nice game by Grant Holmes. Keeps lowering that ERA. A great find, this one.
Wish we could get more out of Verdugo and Harris at the plate. Ozzie too. If they could heat up, we might be formidable. But a win is a win.

More good news. Chris Sale headed for the IL w/cracked rib. Might have happened when he dove for that soft grounder in his last start. Just seems like Braves can't catch a break.

Cook has shown he can produce at a high level. Bills need to compensate him as such..
