Re: Braves 2025
Hoping the 2-1 lead going into the bottom of the ninth would hold up. Nope. Two-run homerun wins it for the Giants. No lead is safe with this team. A one-run lead is like no lead at all.
Geez.

Re: Braves 2025
Other clubs with ridiculous cash to throw around signed them to long term contracts. Freeman maybe only 1 that might be able to justify his contract. Fried will be owed 29 mil per year for pitching at ages 37, 38, 39.

Re: Braves 2025
Corrected, thanks. My finger getting fatter and eyes weaker in old age.

Re: Braves 2025
Meanwhile Elder is throwing a gem!! Is it possible we can avoid using the bullpen? Elder only has 94 pitches after 7 innings of 3-hit ball. I dread going to that pen.
Re: Braves 2025
Not sure who Kimberly is but Kimbrel is likely finished. this could have been the Braves way of letting him finish his career as a Brave. Maybe.
Re: Braves 2025
Kimbrel pitched 1 scoreless inning in apparently only game back with Bravos. Gave up a walk and hit but picked both runners off. Struck out last batter he faced. Max speed was 93 mph.
A scoreless inning not enough for management, hey we should take em any way we can get em.
Released today, will he pitch in majors again?
