Re: Jackson Cantwell: No. 1 prospect for 2026 recruiting cycle commits to Miami
With Rosenhaus on his hip, you knew this wasn't going to go well. The old days of wanting to play for a coach, other players, a program with a development reputation, a place to play while also getting a good education— pick your criteria— are long gone and already so missed. Just give me the money. Go Dawgs!

If the dollars were most important to him, then glad he's off the board.
Re: Jackson Cantwell: No. 1 prospect for 2026 recruiting cycle commits to Miami
I hate this process! I never thought I would see the day in college sports where the high bidder got the player.

Re: Jackson Cantwell: No. 1 prospect for 2026 recruiting cycle commits to Miami
I have zero respect for how this played out, just as I would have if UGA had ponied up with a disgusting amount of money. Simply bridging a performance gap (an ability to recruit—effort, tenacity, process, means) that has been established and refined over more than a decade—BY ADDING MORE ZEROS TO AN OFFER THAN THE COMPETITION is a joke. It takes all of the real talent and sacrifice and renders it basically obsolete.
Re: Jackson Cantwell: No. 1 prospect for 2026 recruiting cycle commits to Miami
Apparently I was wrong, Cantwell was never a "Georgia Guy"…ie: he opted for quick cash rather than skill development, championships and the opportunity to earn more via a well paid future being a first rounder in the NFL …..I'm thinkin The Hick from Nixa will have a hard time focusing on football in the land of Lambos, loose thongs, and lecherous leisure time…..since The Dawgs have outstanding success with guys named Malaki…. and Athens is a whole lot warmer than Ann Arbor, plus he seems curious about becoming a DGD, I'd set my sights on this Hawaiian He-Man!
