Re: Jackson Cantwell: No. 1 prospect for 2026 recruiting cycle commits to Miami
We will lose if it comes down to money, all day long. Plus, Seaerls is not the best position coach. We can do better - and should.
Re: Jackson Cantwell: No. 1 prospect for 2026 recruiting cycle commits to Miami
I remember Coach Searels during the Richt years. We never had a dominant Oline during his tenure and I don't remember any great recruits he brought to Athens. The Oline quality has also regressed during his stay here….
Re: Jackson Cantwell: No. 1 prospect for 2026 recruiting cycle commits to Miami
If your goal is to maximize your draft status over championships, the ACC route makes the most sense. He will be in a primary passing offense so no need to run block, and will face lesser quality defensive lineman. He will post better protection numbers without having to face a tough challenge everyday in practice. From a strict business decision, it makes sense.
Re: Jackson Cantwell: No. 1 prospect for 2026 recruiting cycle commits to Miami
I honestly thought we lost a good one here with Cantwell, but…if money is THE factor, good riddance. Once I saw Miami in the mix…I said uh oh…and was right.

Kirby—"note to self"—must teach Jared (1)Playbook (2)Leadership(3)the UGA Standard(4)how to successfully recruit offensive linemen. (This is meant to be humorous—don't get your panties in a **** vote down man). We'll be just fine—we've lost other O Linemen to big pockets. GO DAWGS
