Re: Stetson Bennett âawesomeâ in win over Dallas Cowboys, back to chopping wood
Go ahead, mailman!!
Re: Georgia WRs Noah Thomas, Colbie Young showing why size matters at wide receiver
We'll see Aug 30th!

Re: Georgia football fall scrimmage one: Mixed bag, per observers
Exactly!!! @Vetdawg . The biggest difference I see between THIS year and '21-'22....is that the Dawgs just had a generational defense at the time. And, it showed during scrimmages.
What happens when both units are "generational"?
They make each other look average. Lol...just as if they were both mediocre. Well...we know Dawggone well, UGA ain't mediocre or average. So, that leaves one possibility.
You can't go by "#1 vs #1 scrimmages", anymore than you can make any kind of informed judgement, versus an Austin Peay or GaSo. Imo.
Re: Georgia football fall scrimmage one: Mixed bag, per observers
I agree. At this point...The coaches have seen a thousand times the QB reps, any of us can account for. Lol. At least, as far as the current QB Room is concerned.
Personally....I'll just rely on Coach Smart and Coach Bobo's opinion. I have a feeling they know what they doing.
I would be surprised...but, not completely shocked...to see Puglisi take the field in place of Stockton.
Mainly because, both guys are capable ballplayers...and the coaching staff is committed to playing the quarterback that gives em the best shot at winning a Championship. I don't think it's personal.
I say....let the best man win...and, dang the politics. What say you... @navydawg ?
Re: Stetson Bennett âawesomeâ in win over Dallas Cowboys, back to chopping wood
I just watched the whole game...and, I'm impressed. Not, just with Bennett, either. Lol. That whole Offense looked "ready". They've done an outstanding job of coaching and preparation.
I can see LA & Philly clashing at some point, this year. If not during the season...then in the playoffs. Maybe, even the NFC Championship Game.
I can see the Rams as a playoff Team and Super Bowl favorite....if.…they keep that kind of running game, going.
And, you can bet...Stetson Bennett will take over the reins at some point, this season. Stafford won't be able to GO, with that disc issue. The heart 'n mind are willing. But, Father Time caught up with the body, I'm afraid.
IF....Bennett continues to play with the confidence and command I saw, tonite....AND....he doesn't get a shot this year....THEN....He will be a Hott Commodity next year. Guaranteed!
He WILL play for somebody, possibly this year...definitely next year. The boy's "ready". Give him the ball.
Go Dawgs....Go Eagles....Go Rams!
