Re: One thing Georgia football should watch for in each College Football Playoff game
Like most I look for Ole Miss to totally destroy Tulane. However It’d be nice if Tulane could at least make a game of it and gas Ole Miss even a little. But it’s not that important, if the Dawgs can beat Ole Miss with Kiffin I have every confidence they will beat them without Kiffin. And the Dawgs are now a much better team than Ole Miss faced earlier. Just hope all our key player Dawgs are fully healthy and ready to forge ahead to winning the Natty. Which they can and they Will. Go Dawgs !! Keep Choppin !!

Anyone heard what grade the turf toe injury is for Harris?
Re: Details emerge follow Walmart shoplifting arrest of 2 Georgia football players
I have never seen so many people making excuses for some young men doing a careless and/or dum b thing. Except @reddawg1 he called you all out. And @76junkyarddawg . And @GBAL. And @ColumbusDawg . Looks like quite a few. More than I thought.
@osmosiphobe "It’s very much a “no excuses” kind of model". You have to follow that model if you want to discourage theft. Walmart lost $6.5 BILLION to theft in 2023.
@Vetdawg "handcuffs"? Really? Standard arrest procedure especially when you are arresting guys that are young, big and strong.
@navydawg "With as many people in need of a job there shouldn’t be a “self checkout”." So now we're telling people how they can build and run their business? How Soviet of you. Those checkout machines never need a break or vacation and never call in sick. They don't need benefits. They don't come in late and you don't have coordinate a schedule for all of them. If your job aspirations are to be a checkout person you are selling yourself short. Good stepping stone job for HS or college kids. But HS and college kids are the most unreliable workers of all.
@Dawggie "$100? Geese, these two should play football in NYC, Illinois or California. Then they could each steal $1200 per day lol." I think I see your point (sarcasm). But (my point) being slack on crime just leads to more crime. Not the direction I think anyone wants to go in. May not have been influential in this case of alleged shoplifting but was it influential in the alleged crimes committed by Nyier Daniels and his mom?
@Grogers "Their bathroom and apartment must really stink." Smoke smell, especially certain kinds of smoke smell, is a very strong odor that is hard to minimize.
@BigDawg61 "i avoid that self-checkout at all costs. I'm just as liable to have an issue as, Not. And, sometimes, you don't even know." Wow. Sadly that says way more about you than about Walmart self checkout. I use it all the time. You know right away whether something rang up or didn't. It is right there in front of you on the screen. If you need help you push the "attendant" button and a red light over your station lights up. Attendant are always nearby at my Walmart.
BTW I was surprised while shopping at Home Depot in the NE US that the prices were actually better than GA. My experience at Walmart, prices may be higher but not by much. You need to venture off the cannabis farm more often.

Re: What Kirby Smart knew Georgia needed this season, and when he demanded it
I think the freshmen grew up after the Alabama game. You could really see it against Mississippi State and Ole Miss ahead of the Texas game.
Your point is valid, though. It took Ellis Robinson a while to come around, but I know a previous doubter who is thoroughly impressed.

Re: Monroe Freeling has the most to gain for Georgia football entering the College Football Playoff
I shudder to think how good we can be next year if guys like him decide to give it one more year.
Re: Kirby Smart shares how Andrew Smart played a role in landing Zachariah Branch
Zach Branch is a superstar - He's going to make a lot of money in the NFL. Super smart decision to come to UGA.
The dawgs always needs that Ladd McConkey / Zack Branch kind of guy. They need to get another one for next year somewhere.
Re: One thing Georgia football should watch for in each College Football Playoff game
We'll see with Ole Miss, they win but who knows how they actually look. I agree, the Bama take is missing the mark. The media has not come to grips with the fact that the Dawg's defense has turned the corner, and absolutely will not give up those points to Ole Miss this time around. Cheap points were at a premium against UGA's defense in the early to mid going this season, but those days are gone. There will be a new narrative after this round of games are played. Can't wait to see what it is.
