Re: Georgia football places league-leading 11 players on Coaches All-SEC teams
"Allen is also a finalist for the Butkus Award, which goes to the nation’s top linebacker."
Yes, he was, not is, a finalist. Rodriquez from TTech won the Butkus 4 days ago.

Probably neither qualified with number of kicks as a minimum…….
especially Thorsen who went several games without punting at all!! He will be noticed at the next level, for sure!
I would surely never trade anyone on our specialty teams for another team's……these guys were fantastic this year!

Re: Mike Bobo named a finalist for Broyles Award as the nationâs top assisstant coach
Glad to see this as well, many many fans turned on him and questioned Coach Smarts reason for keeping him when the offensive was sputtering or was not performing the way home coaches liked or expected. There were many conversations surrounded the fact Coach Smart retained him because they were friends. So, again very nice to see the national media recognize him as well. Four defensive assistants to one offensive assistant the outlook does not look good, but Georgia fans should all applaud him and the offensive staff for the job they were able to do with a new group of kids.

Congrats CMB…and to the Bobo haters, hate it for y’all!

Re: Georgia pleased with Malachi Toliver performance at center: âHe was awesomeâ
Re-post of mine from the DawgNation forum:
….Have to give huge props to the coaching staff in getting Malachi Toliver ready to take Drew Bobo’s place! Never have I seen a happier, more ecstatic player than that young man after the game!
He was hugging everything including the water cooler!
So very happy for him and the step up he made in his play in the biggest game of the year!
Glad to see Coach Kirby and Gunner Stockton praising him as well….shows their character in the process of developing the 'Next Man"!!
Go Dawgs!
