Re: Braves 2026
I think it is a + sign that we can win games in different ways, especially if we aren't knocking the cover off the ball.
Re: Georgia parts ways with women's basketball coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson after four seasons
Agree 100% on JB. A school like Georgia should field a consistently competitive program in FB, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball. With so many programs bringing in young and talented coaches, JB is lauded for bringing in White? Not a bad coach but best output will be mediocre. Both basketball programs have been left naked due to the transfers and it’s tough to tell if that’s coaching, NIL, or both of the above, but what is clear is that Brooks hasn’t hit even a double with his hires, and most of the programs, outside of football and baseball, always seem to be starting over every season. The school should expect more than that.

After all the controversy with the UConn coach going on now he may be available. Hey, we can always hope right? lol

Re: Braves 2026
And follow it up with 8 innings of goose eggs, thankfully 2 in the ninth was enough.

Re: Braves 2026
what a gem by Grant Holmes!! One hit shutout over 6 innings. Great work by the pen over the last 3 innings to preserve the shutout. Timely 9th inning HRs by Albies and Olson, back to back, to give the Braves all the scoring they would need. Nice to be able to win the close ones!!
Last year: 0-7 during first seven games
This year: 5-2 during first 7 games and looking good. (Actually now 6-2 in first 8 games) Pitching has been incredible. Wonder how long it can last or until another injury occurs. Fingers crossed.
Re: Georgia parts ways with women's basketball coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson after four seasons
She did an OK job, but with South Carolina, LSU, and Texas in the conference, OK just isn't good enough. Losing to Virginia in the NCAA was inexcusable. Six of their best eight players going into the portal says volumes. Given this move, Mike White should be VERY NERVOUS.
Re: Kenneth Simon II: Tennessee LB legacy is very intrigued by Georgia football
I’m seeing a lot of the recruits going to a different school, my guess they want to make their own name. Glad Bobo came to Georgia and a few others. Go dawgs

Good update. Now, how about an article on the baseball team that’s rolling!
Re: Georgia parts ways with women's basketball coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson after four seasons
Let’s see how committed the AD really is. Unless they go after and hire a proven winning head coach, it’ll just be more of the same.

Baseball team just swept Miss St on the road. Wow!
