Re: Georgia football: DawgNation predicts the regular season record
I'm in the 10-2 camp also, but my picks are a little different. I think we'll lose to Alabama cause that's what we do—they've got our number. Brent Key and the Techsters have one goal for this year—beating Georgia. We are their "everything". They have us in Atlanta, they have more talent than they have had in years, they have the best QB in the ACC, and they are motivated—remember motivated 19 and 20 year olds can accomplish great things. Writing this is most difficult—I'm sick of losing to Bama, and, Lord knows, if we lose to the insects, I've got to deal with my neighbor for a whole year.

12-0.
If Sanford is like it’s been in last several years for big games (Tennessee in '22), no way we lose to Bama, Miss, TX or the others.
Re: Georgia football: DawgNation predicts the regular season record
And Texas loses its 1st game against Ohio State..

Re: Kirby Smart reacts to Georgia players cut in NFL, celebrates rookie free agents who made it
Kirby Smart’s phone is always attached to his hip, ready to take or make the next call that will lead to future success, but on Tuesday it was about taking time for the past.
Just shows how much he cares for these young men!
That is why Coach Kirby is the man!
Nuff said!

Re: Georgia football: DawgNation predicts the regular season record
10-2…lose to Texas and Auburn. But, we play in the SECCG.
Re: Georgia football: DawgNation predicts the regular season record
I like @MikeGriffith and the “look” of this team. This team looks solid across the board and seems to be locked in mentally for what’s ahead. No “superstars” stand out but there are plenty of stars and I believe some will be superstars before all is over. I see 1-2 losses and the road trips to Knoxville and then to the dump on the Plains do cause worries, and even though it is very tough to win on the road in the conference, for some reason, I think this team is built for the challenge. Go DAWGS!

"Kirby Smart's phone is always attached to his phone…?" Jeez man it's the first line. Proofread for once.
Re: 20 years of a fanâs thoughts on UGA as the Junkyard Blawg moves on
As a kid who grew up selling programs in the 70's and going to UGA football camps, I've always appreciated your storytelling and unique knack for connecting past and future. Fond memories. I had moments with both Erk and Vince at those camps that were one on one. I got smacked in the eye and Erk himself escorted me to the training room to get ice. I held his cigar while he filled up the bag. How cool is that? So very sorry about your brother. Let the memories carry you in your grief. I will follow your new endeavor and look forward to reading the gems you always come up with. Thank you Bill.
20 years of a fanâs thoughts on UGA as the Junkyard Blawg moves on

As the copy desk chief of The Atlanta Journal, I spent most of that early morning working on our storm coverage for what was then the cityâs afternoon newspaper.

Re: Georgia football: DawgNation predicts the regular season record
Tech will come to play, but they won't have enough. I in a big wait and see mode on Auburn, they have good receivers and and new unproven QB, but the rest of the surrounding cast are mostly low rated players, and Kirby Smart ain't coaching them. Ole Miss will probably be tough, but not at home and without Dart, I'm not scared. If things take off and start rolling like everyone thinks on defense I can see rolling through the schedule and winning it all. Field position is everything, and if the D and special teams can give Stockton close to the field position that Stet had most of the time, then watch out.
