At Georgia you're always going to be banged up! Aint that the truth.
Re: Alabama suffers key injury, Marshall readies for Georgia, Tennessee names starting QB
Kirby really "missed out on the Haynes recruitment"....huh? Lol. What a knucklehead.
Justice Haynes could've been a "Legacy Demigod" in Athens, with a bead on the NFL. Instead...? He settled....imo. And, nobody will know his name.
He's one of the first Georgians to become a victim of NIL Greed....imo. I hope it was "greed", anyway. That would almost be, understandable, as opposed to not recognizing the opportunity offered by The Dawgs.
It's an unfortunate situation. He may have intended to transfer to UGA. But, where would he fit in, now?.
The Tour Championship
This week is the final tournament of the PGA Tour, the Tour Championship played at East Lake Golf Club. They eliminated starting "strokes" so no advantage to players in the top-ten of the rankings.
What's unclear is whether this year's accumulated points are factored into determining the winner. Currently, Scottie Scheffler has an insurmountable lead of roughly 3800 points over second place, Rory Mcilroy. Even if Rory wins the tournament, and Scottie finishes last, the best Rory could gain is 2000 fedex cup points, and he would still finish second.
But now, I'm starting to wonder. Is the Tour Championship a stand-alone event that determines the FedEx Cup winner with FedEx cup points only used to determine the top-30 qualifiers?

Wow! Not sure those comments are not just a tad bit biased. You come off sounding quite **** hurt.
"Demigod"? Really? No he would've been just another player working hard for the reward of playing time. Just like he did at AL and would have this year in the '25 UGA RB room.
With all the injuries in '24, UGA certainly could've used him. Are you implying that former 5* Haynes would be lost in the '25 UGA RB room? Who would he be behind? Freshman Walker? IL transfer McCray? He of the 4.7 ypc and 25 rec in 4 seasons? Oft injured coming off turf toe RRob? 5 ypc Nate Frazier?
Haynes still has 2 years of eligibility remaining. He will have plenty of time to move up into prime draft position. He averaged 6 ypc over his 2 years at AL. Frazier and ETN both averaged 5 ypc last season. Haynes also had more receptions in '24 than Frazier in fewer games with fewer touches. .
It is probably safe to say, knowing what we now know about UGA's NIL "strategy", that Haynes was offered more NIL to go to AL (and probably MI) than what he was offered to go to UGA. Would've loved to have seen what his critics would've done had someone offered them a few hundred thousand dollars more when they were 18. SMH.
The kid has a chance to break out this year at MI. I am not sure his odds for breaking out this season aren't better than anybody in the '25 UGA RB room. Especially when you consider that MI seems to have Joe Moore award contending OL's every year. Will be very interesting to watch it all play out this season.
One additional note on the new TN QB Aguilar. When his numbers are presented over 2 years they look pretty impressive. But he had a strong 1st year at App St and a very much less impressive 2nd season at App St. His INT's went way up in '24, his passing yards went down 700 yards in '24 from '23 and his completion percentage dropped 8% from '23 to '24.
