Re: 5 reasons Georgia football has championship ceiling in 2025
Sounds like this young team has a strong bond, togetherness, and leadership. At times last season I failed to see that during a few games, at times the DAWGS would show they were a top team, other times it looked as if they were just going through the motions. Cant wait to see this young team gel together this season..GoDAWGS!

Re: 5 reasons Georgia football has championship ceiling in 2025
Very true, injuries at the wrong time can derail a season quick. I can immediately think of 3 games where UGA looked like an average team at best last year..Kentucky, Ole miss and i'd even throw in that team south of athens on north avenue into the mix. They looked uninspired, almost lifeless at times in those games. Luckily, they somehow managed to squeak out wins vs UK, and gt by sheer determination, a little luck, and some questionable play calls by the opposing coaches. Not so lucky vs Ole miss when they played uninspired, and the difference in talent on the field wasnt as big as it was against uk, or gt. Don't get me wrong, both those schools have good talent on the roster, and some very good players, but the Rebels simply had better talent, and depth than those 2, and going through the motions against teams like that usually don 't end up favoring you on the scoreboard when the clock shows :00 end of 4th quarter.

Re: 5 reasons Georgia football has championship ceiling in 2025
I don't think we're gonna see that kind of mindset and those inconsistencies of '24...this year. Not, from what I'm hearing and seeing. This group of Dawgs appear to be on a mission...individually and together. If that makes sense. Lol
No major distractions...keeping the main thing, the main thang....along with the current injury forcast....makes me very optimistic about the coming season.
Just look at all the experience gained in '24....2 and 3 deep at nearly every position. Most of those guys are coming back, along with a good mix of Freshmen and Transfers. Some of the "transfers" are bringing in some valuable and much needed experience for the Special Teams units as well as skill positions.
I guess I feel pretty Dawggone confident & comfortable about the situation this year....cause, I don't doubt Stockton or Bobo like most do. I know what they CAN DO....just, don't know if they WILL DO. Lol. God Bless em.
Go Dawgs!!
Re: Coaches Poll Top 25 Preseason Rankings: Georgia football debuts at No. 4 in 2025
Yes let us hunt and. not be the hunted this year. I cannot wait to watch this team this year. Gonna be a lot of dudes flying around out there this year. I also think that PSU will choke in thier opener and that ND will win theirs. I also think that Texas wins thiers but that Clemson drops it to LSU.
Re: Kirby Smart: Gunner Stockton âkeeps it moving,â trusts in Georgia football process
I still get a kick out of what Malaki Starks said of an encounter with Gunner in High School. Said he got hit so hard he liked to of quit football.
Gunner should have got more playing time as backup to Beck. I hope we get a good lead so that mistake won't happen with Ryan. I have faith Gunner will do fine. Go Dawgs !!!
Re: Coaches Poll Top 25 Preseason Rankings: Georgia football debuts at No. 4 in 2025
I’m ok with where Georgia is. Penn st is waaaaayyyyy too high. They should not be ranked ahead of Georgia or most teams in the top 10.
Re: Coaches Poll Top 25 Preseason Rankings: Georgia football debuts at No. 4 in 2025
Penn State - don't think so. They always choke.
Re: Coaches Poll Top 25 Preseason Rankings: Georgia football debuts at No. 4 in 2025
yEiGh!! - got’em where we want them. Will be interesting to see how TX handles their ranking.
Will pull for them - until they come to Athens.
Re: Coaches Poll Top 25 Preseason Rankings: Georgia football debuts at No. 4 in 2025
That's perfect, actually. Starting the season #1 just never works out and and I question the general buy-in versus the degree of financial motivation within the team.
Hunker Down
Re: Kirby Smart: Gunner Stockton âkeeps it moving,â trusts in Georgia football process
Gunnar's gonna start, Gunnar's gonna settle in with the two cupcake games, Gunnar's gonna go up there and whip Lou Lou And Junior's team, and THEN we will see what Gunnar can do at home against you know who.
