@Eric_C….yes, good point. Bama was 13/19 on 3rd downs for the day. Incredible stat. Dawgs were 2/8 on 3rd downs. Just pitiful. And Bama's time of possession was over 10 minutes longer than the Dawgs. I think that's a huge stat. We actually could have lost by more if you just look at the stats. Bama missed opportunities and the Dawgs slowed down their running game pretty well.
Both teams and QBs are better this time around. We have lost (4) games against Bama in The Benz out of only (5) games that Kirby has lost in that venue The other loss being a shellacking by Joe Burrow and LSU in 2019. So, historically, this venue is not kind to the Dawgs at all when we play Bama. Dawgs sure need to change that narrative.
