Re: Georgia football winners and losers from 2026 recruiting class
Maybe he wanted to play at home, you know, like BVG did and Gunner does…
Did he use UGa to get a better deal from Vandy? Yes, probably. Nature of this new semi pro football league. Sadly saying

Re: Gary Stokan: College Football Playoff field chaos could be around the corner
No way I am upset at "having" to play in the SECCG. The SEC is the strongest conference in the land and winning that is flat out tougher than a single elimination tournament, where one bad play, a fluke or referee interference can end it all. I'm sorry, the NC is important and cool but with the way this nonsense is laid out, the Conference is King to me and I want to crush alabama and win it.
Only then do I care about this tournament.

Re: Injuries have become a major storyline in Georgia-Alabama SEC championship game
For all the talk about the concerns with Drew Bobo and the offense, I'll say the defense is in much better shape now to at least limit Bama's game control. What did they have in the first game, like 8 straight 3rd down conversions to start the game? That is just unheard of for the Dawgs, and hopefully there will be some market corrections for this game.
I'm curious how Bama will go about business in this game. Having moved ahead of ND in the rankings and looking more secure for the playoffs win or lose, and having already defeated the Dawgs this season, will they play more conservatively and just try to keep it close, or will they be aggressive early like they've done in the past? For the Dawgs, there is much more motivation obviously in getting a victory. In any case, I'm hoping we see that defense we saw vs Texas show up.
Re: Gary Stokan: College Football Playoff field chaos could be around the corner
I have to add here, for all the gnashing of teeth from fans upset that the Dawgs have to play in the SECCG, they also have to love being in the center of the college football universe this weekend. We know the viewership ratings. This is always a great opportunity to show recruits what Georgia football is all about. We can always lose a big recruit to a team like Vandy, Arizona St., or Nebraska, but you come and play for the Georgia Bulldogs to be in moments like this! GATA
Re: Gary Stokan: College Football Playoff field chaos could be around the corner
So…in the event of a SECCG loss, sounds like the Bama argument is that only SOS matters…winning them all is way overrated. Along that line of logic, why isn’t Wisconsin being considered for a CFP slot? After all I believe they have the number 1 SOS, who cares that they lost 8 of those games…
If Bama loses to the Dawgsthey should be out…period. That’s the way it worked in 2023, yes? A 12-0 regular season meant nothing when we lost in the SECCG! Win it on the field this weekend or shut up Bama…if you guys beat us again Saturday afternoon then yes, you deserve to be in…

7th or 8th with a historic home field first round game…not a bad consolation prize at all.

"…….Mecole Hardman, were busts."
Yea, it has to be disappointing when you only win 3 Super Bowls and catch the game winning touchdown pass in the most recent one!
