As a PS: I understand (and Curtis referred to it in his own post on X) that his parents were not aware of his final decision and were pulling for Georgia. Unsure if that's true, but it does point to another level of uncertainty that UGA is probably better off without… time to move on!

Thx Brother !! You hit the nail on the head. He is in the Dwight “Peanut” Phillips mold. He’s fast and slippery got great vision. Seems to have decent strength. In UGA’s strength and conditioning program he’d come out dynamite in a small package. But he’s not a bruiser like Frazier and Bowens. Time will tell the story !! Go Dawgs beat Bama !!

I'm keeping my eye on Kaiden Prothro, and Blake Stewart. Stewart has all the tools to be a great SEC Safety after some developement, suprised he is just rated as a 3*. Same for Prothro, a little development, and he will join a long list of great TE's UGA has produced over the years. He is verstile enough though, you could split him out wide, and at 6'6 220lbs (now), he will be a mismatch for any LB, or DB..GoDAWGS!

Has there been any word on Spell the running back who decommited from Penn State?
Re: Georgia football recruiting class 2026 commitments, signees, targets, live updates
I hope KJ Duff from Rutgers enters the portal. Guy is incredible.
Re: Georgia football recruiting class 2026 commitments, signees, targets, live updates
Maybe we see him in the red & black a year or two down the road. See him as a natural transition from "Peanut" Phillips. Think we like to carry one to two backs of this caliber per roster grouping. Believe we were trying to secure two backs in mold of Frazier & Bowens this cycle.

I'm with you… a LOT to celebrate here! Many (myself included) have been so overloaded by the media with Curtis info (hysteria?) up to this point that the really excellent recruits who DID stick to their word have been mostly lost in the shuffle. I took the time to review the backgrounds of those beyond Curtis (mea culpa that I took so long) and there's some real quality there 💪
As always, "in Kirby we trust"… I'm guessing CKS and co. will be much more active in the JUCO ranks this coming year (TP, obviously also), plus working hard to retain the excellent young talent UGA already has on-board. Maybe the lighter 2026 class just might help us retain a few more young Dawgs that already know and love the program and can be developed into strong, seasoned players? We'll see!

@Stiffneck
what gets me and haven’t seen too much written about is, he stated he didn’t know what his pay would be and hasn’t asked yet. That he didn’t care, the NIL was more important rather than his pay (paraphrasing).
This is all after the fact when he was hired a couple of days ago. He didn’t know, but the whole world already knew…crazy talk.
I think the figure was 30 mil that he wanted guaranteed in NIL.
Think there would be less that cared about it one way or the other if he would have been just honest about everything.
I guess almost cleaning house with coaching hires from Ole Miss could also be debated though. Coaching and CF or pro as I call it has become a dirty game. Much worse than before.
Kiffin has always from what I remember been a con man. “A zebra never changes his stripes”. LSU gets what they deserve.
I blame the ones that keep hiring him more than Kiffin himself.
