Re: BREAKING: Georgia football commit Jarmaine Mitchell flips to Arizona State
3 flips in 3 months by this 3 star…name change is warranted…Flip Mitchell has a catchy ring, yes?

Re: What Jared Curtis decision means for the future of the Georgia quarterback position
He's had 2 chances to be a DAWG now but chose not to be. So if he flips and transfers in 2 years, dont think im gonna come a calling if you do, I won't waste another minute of my time recruiting you, won't be happening. Don't care if you're the #1 HS players or the 347th player, im done with ya.

Re: BREAKING: Georgia football commit Jarmaine Mitchell flips to Arizona State
I live in Scottsdale, beautiful place and weather…until Summer. Mr. Mitchell ain't gonna like the relentless heat one bit. The 100's start in May and don't end until mid October. July and August routinely have days above 115 and it's not out of the question to see 120. It's pretty brutal. ASU football is also pretty boring. I went to a game once and it was sad compared to the SEC. Have fun Jarmaine!
Re: What Jared Curtis decision means for the future of the Georgia quarterback position
I wonder what effect the Jared Curtis decision will have on the Vanderbilt quarterback room. For the Vanderbilt coach to essentially give an incoming freshman a starting job without earning it, how does that make the incumbents feel? Even if there is a "competition", you have to believe the scales will be seriously tilted in favor of the freshman. Drew Dickey (1 yr of eligibility) was not able to play in 2025 due to a cardiac issue and likely never sees the field again. Blaze Berlowitz (2 yrs of eligibility), the current backup QB, transferred from New Mexico State where he was also the backup to Diego Pavia (no more eligibility). Jeremy St-Hilaire (2 yrs of eligibility), Whit Muschamp (3 yrs of eligibility), and Jack Elliott (4 yrs of eligibility) were all 3 star recruits coming out of high school. I am not sure if the transfer portal is a viable alternative for any of them, but I wouldn't blame them if they tried to find out.
Re: Jared Curtis: Latest Intel in 5-starâs decision hint at one last final act
Really? I love the phrase “respect for both programs.” That says it all. You’re “committed” to Georgia and you have to show “respect” for Vanderbilt? Why? Of course, flipping to Vanderbilt is not showing “respect” for Georgia, a program who has recruited based on your commitment. Bailing out of that commitment at the last minute makes it very difficult for Georgia to recover and recruit another QB for this class. They, perhaps foolishly, believed you when you said you were coming to Athens. Now you stab them in the back? Where’s the respect in that? Since you “supposedly” are not “committed” to Vanderbilt, why do you owe them anything?
Bottom line - he’s at lest led Vanderbilt to believe he’s going there. Otherwise, he owes them nothing. Therefore, the only logical conclusion: well that’s obvious. Why not just call Lane and say you’re coming to LSU. Two peas in a pod.
Re: Jared Curtis: Latest Intel in 5-starâs decision hint at one last final act
If he was going to think about it today and discuss it with his family, etc. etc., then he was never really committed to UGA.

Re: Jared Curtis: Latest Intel in 5-starâs decision hint at one last final act
To be honest I hope he goes to Vandy. High maintenance, needy. Rat poison. He’ll be in the transfer portal sooner rather than later. Walk away and use the money on recruits with character and loyalty.

Re: BREAKING: Georgia football commit Jarmaine Mitchell flips to Arizona State
Georgia is not the NFL factory for offensive and defensive linemen because they are soft on the big guys. No, they work the shot out of them in not only developing them but preparing to be an instant contributor at the NFL level because they know how to work and they know how to practice. Average won’t cut it with Kirby.
