Hopefully Blake Stewart announces this afternoon that he will become a UGA Bulldog. He has the qualities to become another great safety at UGA..GoDAWGS!

Having Kiffin continue to coach creates a story line that the talking heads can talk endlessly about. There will also be people that think that he got his team this far so he DESERVES to coach out the season. Neither of those scenarios benefit MS>
Kiffin had to go after he made the decision. He has already poached 2 MS commits in the 1 day he has been HC of LSU. He is allowed to finish the season and shows well that enhances his ability to recruit (against MS) and his personal resume. It was all win win for Kiffin.
@GtheGreek HS ratings/rankings are based on the NFL potential of the young men in each class to develop into high draft choices. Seems kind of backward to me. Like maybe they should be rated based on potential CFB production.
Since there are only 32 NFL teams there are typically around 30 or so "5* recruits". P's and K's are never taken in the 1st rd so they are never rated 5*. That is why someone like GS dropped in his HS ranking despite an impressive HS career. He just wasn't judged to have the physical tools to be a top NFL draft pick.

Re: Georgia, Alabama CFP scenarios: Bulldogs and Tide could meet a third time
I'm sorry…if Georgia wins, a 3 loss Alabama should NOT be in the playoffs.
They could easily have 4 more regular season losses anyway… Georgia, Mizzou, SCar, and Rburn.
But since they're Alabama, I guess exceptions can be made…
