iIt is frustrating to know that they can beat the #1 ranked team this week, and lose the following week to #10. Maybe the parity is real this year.

This unwillingness on Kirby’s part to even Consider trying someone else at QB can probably be extended to other players and Coaches as well. So it’s I Am Kirby Smart I have spoken !! OK Kirby that attitude could cause your program to diminish into obscurity over time.

Look I am Deeply grateful for all Kirby has done for Dawgs football. He is indeed a Great Head Coach. UGA is very blessed to have him. BUT if that same stubbornness extends to using the bare minimum on the TP. And unwilling to fire or demote Coaches. And unwilling to pull players that are under performing. Well then going forward Dawgs football will be passed by other programs and will fall down the ladder in the SEC.

IF Beck decides to come back next year, Kirby will GLADLY take him, and leave him as Starter. If that happens say Bye to Gunner Stockton, probably say Bye to Rashada. You Know he won’t even consider scolding Mike Bobo less alone fire him. Searls will stay on as O Line etc. etc. etc.

Allot of people including ME thought Kirby would be like Saban, Only Better. But No, Saban would Fire and Demote Coaches in a heart beat !! He’d Sure bench players that were under performing.

Loyalty is a Great character aspect and very commendable. BUT a true leader has to have a harness on Loyalty for the sake of The Team and the program as a whole and Yes even for the fans. It appears that Kirby being TO Loyal could eventually lead to the demise of greatness at Dawgs football.

Fire Kirby ?? NO WAY !! But and If he doesn’t restrain at least Some of his loyalty I hope the AD will call him in for a little chat. Kirby is one of if not The highest paid HCs in CFB, these Tough decisions are part of the job.

I could be Very wrong, have been many times before, but I’d sure hate to see Stockton go as it’s my strong belief that would adequate practice time with the Ones we have a real baller in that young man !!

Any way maybe it’ll all work out I just don’t like seeing Kirby speak in such rock solid absolutes of No Way, No How will I even Think about changing QBs !!! That attitude concerns me deeply as a fan. Go Dawgs !!

If Pope were my son I don’t think I’d appreciate Kirby calling him an Idiot and ****. Pope didn’t violate any team rules that I know of. Just amped up to see family and friends he hadn’t seen in a long time.

He probably should have tried to tone his excitement down some, but in the moment he probably didn’t think he’d be a victim of paparazzi . Kirby had Time to select what HE said. Kirby being a mature adult and in a very high position doesn’t look very good calling a really young man an Idiot and **** for something as trivial as that. Maybe he needs to chew on his COACHES like that a bit more.

Kirby seems much more upset by Pope acting goofy than by all the arrests we’ve had to endure. Very telling that Pope is an “idiot “ but “ we want to support” Colbie Young or RaRa. Maybe Kirby is the idiot?

@David1 What bothers you so much about that ? He’s a kid excited to see some hs friends. The Beck thing is worse imo but still not a big deal. It’s not the reason we lost. We lost bc Kirby & Bobo continue to get outcoached & out recruited(in terms of playmakers & using the portal). I
