I did a search of the Braves, Phillies and Mets and none of them seem to have a S&C coach listed. Maybe the player develop their own routines? IDK.

further search found Badford Scott is the performance coach. Master's Degree from the East West College of Healing Arts, in Portland OR. Also is certified in Strength and Conditioning.

As opposed to last year when we had a bunch of players on the first team. For whatever the reason, UGA does much better when underrated. In '21, the SEC media picked Jordan Davis alone as an all SEC first teamer (among O and D teams). They picked about half the Alabama team to be all SEC. That Dawg team was absolutely loaded with high draft picks. This is actually a good sign imo.

Grant Holmes with another strong start. Throws one bad pitch and gives up a homer. Still, lowers his ERA to 3.44, not bad for a guy thought to be our # 5 starter. Braves' response - 0-6 with RISP. Just terrible. Only 4 guys in the starting lineup today who have an OPS at or above the MLB average. Braves down 2-0 going into the 9th. Maybe fans should boycott or start wearing bags over their heads.

@GtheGreek Very true ,…. interesting to note UGA is picked to play in SEC title game even with so few preseason stars

Yeah, we could let it play out that way, while also announcing to the market he’s going to retire at years end. Sort of solves both problems. Snit saves the embarrassment and we are still first on the leagues radar for a new coach.
