Always enjoy Bill's posts. His love of the Dawgs, the university, the city and the state always comes through. I look forward to checking out the new site. Best of luck, Bill! Go Dawgs!!
Re: Georgia tight end Lawson Luckie emerging as team leader, ready for Bulldogs to âtake' respect
The way things are shaping up, it looks like The 2025 Dawgs have a serious competition going on…..and we all know the winner will be declared at the conclusion of every game via "Kirbyology"……whoever advances the ball consistently, gets the ball the most….The 2025 Dawgs have arguably the best receiver room, WR's & TE's, that we've had in years and it also appears that our RB room is loaded with raw but yet unproven potential…..both groups biting at the bit to turn the hype into factual stats……..DawgNation, in 2025 It's GREAT TO BE A DAWG……as for Lawson, whether it's receiving and breaking tackles or whether it's laying the lumber to a potential tackler allowing the RB to make extra yardage…..I see a very bright season for "The Luckie Dawg"

Re: NFL Georgia rookie breakdown: Malaki Starks leads list of impressive Bulldogs
The Jalon Walker and Mykel Williams injuries are minor @lucydawg. Their teams played it safe with them because they expect both guys to start early this season and don't want them to aggravate their injuries for meaningless preseason games. The only one who suffered a serious preseason injury was Dan Jackson, and his was season-ending.
I. can recall going into some important games the last few years and we would have 3 on offence and 4 on defense unable to play, whereas our opponent would be perfectly healthy.
That … never actually happened. Texas alone lost their #1 and their #3 tailbacks for the season early. They were missing their best safety, a definite future NFL draft pick who would have been the guy responsible for containing Trevor Etienne - who incidentally had his 2 most impactful games for UGA against Texas - also.
Notre Dame? Well see this: https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/43399125/notre-dame-overcame-injuries-reach-college-football-playoff-championship-game and you will know that it was a very battered Fighting Irish team that dominated UGA 23-10. UGA was no more healthier at the end of 2021 and 2022 than they were at the end of 2023 and 2024. It is just that the 2021 and 2022 teams had way more talent, on both sides of the ball, to begin with.
