Re: Georgia football offensive line features a couple of surprises in starting lineup
Let's not pretend that the 2 freshmen "starters" on the '25 OL did not have growing pains throughout the year. I sure remember a lot of comments on Dawgnation about how bad the OL was ("fire Searels!") and how GS could not perform to his and our expectations because he wasn't getting time in the pocket.
I really like Helton. He is small by UGA IOL standards. IF he starts in '26 at OG that does not bode well for the OL performance in '26. I suspect he'll be a reserve most of the year on the OL and he'll waste a year that he could be helping the UGA DL.
Cortez Smith has a high ceiling at UGA at OC. Smith started at OC for 4 years at Parkview (GHSA 7A ball - SEC Jr). Not surprised he is a more polished OC than MToliver (converted OG).
@Gramster You are just a glutton for punishment aren't you? The more you talk the more you prove yourself wrong. You know what the #1 thing needed to recruit out of the portal or from HS is? Money. Any team in the country can buy whatever they want from HS or the TB just by writing a check. You know what Mike White does not get enough of as basketball coach of UGA? Money. The commitment is not there.
Some of UGA's best basketball players wanted more money after last season. They didn't get it from UGA so they went to the portal. Mike White didn't have it to give (or he didn't want that level of player back) so he had to let them walk.
I am sure that CMW thinks he is making his job easier next year by not signing better players. That is some great logic you got there.
Keep reading my posts and I'll bring you up to speed on NIL.

Re: Reis Russell: 3-star OL shares a big endorsement for UGA football after OV
not sure if it’s just the hair. But getting some Ratledge vibes.
Re: Georgia football offensive line features a couple of surprises in starting lineup
I would LOVE to have consistent starting 5 and good quality backups to spell on some series each game.
Re: ESPN calls out Georgia football strenghts and weaknesses after spring practice
I myself am interested in what Schlabach has to say. He’s a smart guy. He lives close to Athens and is pretty plugged in over there. Some people don’t have access to ESPN content.
Re: Dawgs Baseball Feeding the Trees
what could I add? I think the other team was playing there too.

Re: ESPN calls out Georgia football strenghts and weaknesses after spring practice
The TE's looked so good on G Day that you didn't notice what the WR's didn't do on G Day. The fact that true freshman Dandridge seems to be outshining the entire room is an unsettling thought.
Humphrey has his moments but has been inconsistent. TTaylor has a good ceiling but needs to catch everything. CJ Wiley was a big disappointment. Looked like a low effort guy who moped around after a drop. Can SWhite catch? IDK. Branch caught everything (surprised me). Canion? CB's in the SEC are not the CB's he saw in the ACC.
Prothro is a weapon in the slot. Phillips is a weapon out of the backfield. WR's? Time will tell.
