Re: Carson Beck applies Georgia experience, leads Miami to 27-24 win over Notre Dame
agreed. Wish him well in any game except one against us. Hope he can ruin the gators day in a couple weeks.

Re: Social media sounds off on Georgia football win, SEC standings and Carson Beck debut in Week 1
Love how the national media is making is sound like Carson Beck wasn't the issue last year at UGA. Carson is STILL not accurate with long passes, so whatever.
Re: 3 takeaways from Georgiaâs 45-7 win over Marshall: Offensive questions linger
Honestly, it's hard to really tell how good any of this team is when you're playing against a much more inferior level of competition. Along with potential injuries, this is the reason I dislike these kind of games. Next week will be more of the same. Until we play the Vols, I have no idea how good or bad this team is until real competition shows up. We can speculate and make observations right now, but who knows? The players will be more focused and amped up in Knoxville. Bobo will be showing a much different playbook too.
I mostly liked what I saw Saturday, but no, it wasn't without flaws or concerns. The OL is going to get pushed around against better competition if this is as good as they get. So that is my biggest concern. Stockton played good enough, but with less than 100 yards of true downfield, vertical passing, how truly accurate is this guy? I loved the fact that we started the game fast out of the gate. That needs to continue.
According to the 247 Team Talent Composite, the Dawgs have the 2nd most talented roster in the country (following very closely behind Bama). But, we saw how the Tide got stomped Saturday. Talent isn't enough. Having the right talent AND experience in the right spots along with the best coaching is what matters.
Re: Carson Beck applies Georgia experience, leads Miami to 27-24 win over Notre Dame
I have to admit I was lukewarm entering the game last night about who I was pulling for (perhaps somewhat influenced by social media crap). I then remembered my daddy always reminded me that ND was his second favorite team. His favorite team was who they were playing. After the game started, I could not help pulling for Carson. It was really great to see him recover from the injury in the SEC championship game. He has always spoken well. However, in his post game interviews, it was clear that he has matured as a player and person. Let's not forget how complimentary our guy GS has been of his mentoring.
