There is still improvement needed on the OL, and Peanut looks like running back #1 to me. I believe there will be a tad more passing in the next scrimmage to get opened up for Tennessee. There is just going to have to be improvement every game. Kirby even said" The biggest opponent each week will be ourselves".

Another nail biter for the Bravos. Waldrep gives 1 run in 5 innings and sees his ERA "balloon": to 1.01. Masterful job. then ROY "rake"Baldwin hits a 2-run pinch hit HR for the winning margin. The bullpen miraculously holds for the win.

Keep in mind, we are going to have the most vanilla offenses in the first 2 games as to not give Tenn tape to watch. Also we don't need to open up the playbook on our first 2 opponents to easily win.

Bud Elliott is partly right about the Miami's OL being better, but Notre Dame lost two NFL defensive linemen and an NFL defensive end from last years team, as well as a very good linebacker who transferred.

I don’t understand where all the optimism regarding Stockton is coming from. The runs that everyone is raving about will not be even remotely available against Texas and Alabama defenses. His passing is below average and he fails to go through his progressions. He looks more like a true freshman than a red-shirt sophomore in his passing vision. Puglisi had similar running acumen and much better pocket presence. So if Stockton’s runs will be unavailable and he’s a below average passer, are we gonna be in another Jake Fromm situation where we stick with the “loyal Georgia boy“? This seems to be Kirby‘s one kryptonite

I'm excited for the team this year. I really hope we can cut back on the constant injuries that have plagued this team for the last 2 decades.
